2024 0721 - Dixon Reservoir

A 3 mile Hike around this body of water. At one end there is a Prairie Dog Community. Its hard not to take pictures of them. many Bunny Rabbits shared their space. Of course the usual Water birds abound. Pelicans and Ducks are included. Birds and Bees continue to mark the summer. The Western Meadow Lark was the prize spotting. The Say Phoebe (Robin type) has some animated captures. The Bee is from a Sun Flower which are out. Can you see the flying ant in the one Sunflower picture? Several other Flora types are included. I love rail and walkway pictures so a few of those are below. There are a few shots of the basin this Reservoir is in. It sits below Horsetooth Reservoir which contains a massive amount of water.
